Troubleshooting

We have found some innovative ways to deal with issues that come up on site, for both new-build and existing features.

Though we have solved many problems, we can’t work miracles, and if we can’t help, we’ll be up front about that.

Correcting major issues is often expensive, and problems can often be avoided, with lower costs, if we can be involved at an early stage in the design process.

  • Designing solutions for tricky sites
  • Boosting under-performing pumps and filtration systems
  • Pinpointing leaks (see our FAQ)

Low water level in a pond can be unsightly. This might be solved by repairing a leak, adjusting the pool edge, or a more major redesign

Pond Issues

Excess sediments or nutrients can cause growths of algae on the pool base, which may float to the surface in summer.

Invasive plants, or excessive floating duckweed might be unsightly.

With investigation, root causes can be isolated. Often a change in management processes can correct and re-balance the pond. In other cases some redesign or addition of equipment, or specific water treatments, can help.

We’ve answered some of of the questions we are most often asked in our FAQ section.
