1. Privacy when using the Water Garden Solutions website:

We do not require you to register with personal information before using the website

We no longer use cookies. We do not track your use of the site.

We have no control over third-party sites that we many link to - these pages will have their own privacy and cookie policies.

2. Privacy in supplying your details:

Contact Form: If you proceed to use our ‘Contact Us’ form, the details are transferred via our SSL secured site to the EU based servers of our, GDPR compliant, form provider who does not supply your details to any third party. .

Whether contacting us via the form, by email, phone or on a site visit - when engaging the services of Water Garden Solutions we will obtain necessary personal details such as your name, address, e-mail and telephone number. These details are stored by us for the purposes of contacting you to respond to your enquiry or communicate whilst work proceeds on your behalf. We only share your details with our business partners when necessary to carry out work on your behalf e.g. to allow a landscape contractor to contact you directly during a project on your property; or to allow delivery of items directly to site.

We do not use details from our website contact form to send marketing emails. If you specifically consent, we may send details of special offers that we think you would find of interest. You can unsubscribe from receiving these communications, or ask us to delete your information from our computer files at any time by notifying us (see GDPR note below).

Unless required by law, Water Garden Solutions will never supply the details you have given us to third parties for e.g. marketing purposes, without your consent. Should Aquapic / Water Garden Solutions ever be sold on to another company, your information would be transferred with these obligations to you still in place.

NewsBlog: Our Newsblog is now archived. If you leave comments on our Newsblog, your IP address and the email or website address that you give will be routinely recorded in WordPress logs on our server. Normally only your public name would be shown on the site. We are no longer publishing comments, only archive comments are visible. Comments from posters are moderated. We reserve the right to delete inappropriate comments, and to edit comments for spelling/clarity/civility. By placing comments on the Blog site you accept that these are now in the public domain, and you have no rights over where they might be reused or quoted by visitors to the site.

Under GDPR, you have certain rights to control of your own data. Should you wish, you have the right at any time to make reasonable requests for us to notify you of any data that we might hold about you. You can make a request to have this data deleted by Contacting Us. This right does not override any legal obligation we have to hold your data (for example retaining information for anti money-laundering purposes).

3. Your garden:

As part of our work for you, we may take photographs of your garden to record pond/feature situations and enable us to effectively design any feature that you have requested. We may also take photographs of features for our portfolio. If sections of our portfolio are shared with third parties we do not reveal any private details of addresses or who work was done for and would not do so without first obtaining your consent.

4. Other websites:

We have no control over other websites that we may have linked to, or how they might obtain information from you.

Materials may not be copied, used for commercial AI training, or published elsewhere (even in a modified form) without the explicit permission of Water Garden Solutions. We may be able to license use for certain applications. Fair use exemptions apply, and require appropriate source crediting. We will follow up any infringements.
